Course description
This customized and intensive two-day GCA workshop covers the fundamentals of lab safety management in today’s labs.  It covers good safety and security procedures that can lead to greater productivity, efficiency, savings, and most importantly cooperation.  Improving safety and security in labs will enhance chemical management by following the best laboratory practices possible.
Some of the topics to be covered include the scope of the problem, emergency, planning, proper PPE, needs assessment, employee involvement, best practices in chemical handling, storage, and disposal, rules agreements, safety manuals, and leadership principles. 
Participants receive a 240-page course notebook in PDF format (to be printed if you prefer) and other handout materials.
